Our Mission
“We give you a clean deal” is short and sweet, straight to the point, coined by long time owner and grandfather to Andrew, Bernard Toyk. You bring an item to us and we clean it back to the base metal, at an affordable price.
Our Vision
We at De Rust It are always striving to improve on our processes, continuously looking into new technologies in order to better the services we provide to our customers. There’s nothing as clean as chemical clean, with the base metal being unaffected and the corrosion not blasted off all over but eaten off where necessary
Who Are We?
We are known as specialists in metal cleaning and electro-polishing of stainless steel, including pickling, degreasing, paint stripping, coating stripping and rust/corrosion/contaminant removal from all metals.
Derustit was founded over 40 years ago registered in 1982 and has been a family run business since 1985.
Andrew came into ‘Derustit’ to continue his grandfather’s legacy at the age of 23 and carry on the small family business. He bought over the assets in 2016 and registered a new Entity ‘De Rust It’. It has since grown from strength to strength with a new school way of thinking and implementations of bigger baths, more environmentally friendly methods and recycling of the waste water as well as the addition of services offered. With over 40 years of metal cleaning experience amongst the De Rust It team, you can be sure your parts are in the best hands.
We have since started:
Minor fabrication as well as mechanical polishing, trying to align our electro-polishing service with pre-fabrication, in order to either improve on a client’s component or repair, at their request, or alternatively fabricate from scratch. If we can’t do it ourselves, we would be happy to connect with one of experienced clients in order to get your job done.
